Hourly Rate: $85.00 per hour (min. 1 hour)

Winterization of In/Out Motors:

1. Add stabilizer to fuel.

2. Crank engine and let warm.

3. With motor running, spray fogging oil down throat of intake.

4. With motor running, add biodegradable anti-freeze until it has completely filled engine water passages.

5. Change gear oil in outdrive. Check for contaminates.

1-5 $170.00 plus parts

6. Change oil and filter

7. Change water separating filter / In-line filter

1-7 $215.00 plus parts

8. Grease all fittings

9. Grease prop shaft, check for fishing line, etc.

10. Perform cursory inspection of boat for recommended future maintenance.

11. Cover and demoisturizer recommendations

1-11 $255.00 plus parts

Note: The estimated parts prices will vary depending on the amount of product used which is determined by engine size and requirments. As with all work done in a marine service department the management can only warranty that the work indicated above has been completed properly when the boat leaves the premises. We encourage all of our customers to scrutinize and ask questions of our service personnel. We are not responsible for the condition of the product after it has left our control.

 

Winterization of Outboard motors:

4. Grease all zerk fittings

5. remove prop, grease shaft, check for fishing line, etc.

6. Battery maintenance; check electrolyte levels

7. Four stroke motors; change oil and filter

8. cover and demoisturizer recommendations

9. Boat trailer; check lug nuts, tire pressure, grease bearing buddies.

1-9 $125.00 2 stroke engines - $150.00 4 stroke engines

Please carefully review our recommended additional service items to minimize your future boating hassles. We also offer an optional detailing service to make your spring boating more pleasant. Once cleaned all boats should be properly covered and stored with mildew control protection. Always store your boat in a protected area and inspect it regularly. If the boat is used, it is no longer winterized.
