Our private classes are a great way for you to learn at your own pace without any of the pressures associated with a group learning environment. Also, there is the added benefit of meeting at your convenience. After completing our private class you will have all of the necessary skills to participate in Open Water Training Dives.

Start immediately and move at your own pace. Study at home with the PADI videos. Finish in two weeks or two months. It's up to you and your schedule.

Private lessons are Performance based. There are no set number of sessions. You can move as quivckly or as slowly as you like. There is NO group pressure.

Individual attention facilitates rapid, effective learning. This is a tremenous instructional value.

In addition to the tuition students are expected to provide the PADI Open Water Manual ($49.95) and their own personal snorkeling gear (mask, fins, snorkel, and boots) We offer specially priced packages for snorkeling gear and student discounts for anyone currently taking a scuba class-even if it's not our class. We have the largest variety of snorkeling gear in the Triangle, so come in and look around before you commit to buying.

Cost for Private Check-out Dives (Open Water Certification Dives)

All prices are per person

Private....$275 (private - $225 instruction / $50 gear rental)

Group of two....$225 (2 people private - $175 instruction / $50 gear rental)

Group of three...$195 (3 or more private - $145 instruction / $50 gear rental)

Quarry Fees...$15 per day at Fantasy Lake $22 per day at Lake Rawlings (payable at the quarry)

Price includes instruction, gear rental for 2 days, air fills and certification fees.

**Additional Note: Each student is responsible for transporting their own SCUBA gear (including 2 tanks, regulator, BC, wet suit, and wieght belt, for the Open Water Certification dives. If you do not own gear, it is important to learn how to safely rent your SCUBA equipment. Gear must be secured from Water World prior to closing the day before the dives. Allow ample time for this as we close sharply at 6:00 pm (4:00 pm Sat). Air fills between days are included but you are responsible for transporting the tanks to the store and getting them filled. Do not forget to bring along your Dive Log to start recording your dive history.

**Cancellation Policy: A $25 fee will be deducted from all refunds. Less than 48 hours notice will be assessed a $50 fee. No notice will receive no refund.
