2007 Open Water Dive/Fun Days

Fee: $139.00

Includes instruction ($89.00), scuba gear rental ($50.00), snacks on Saturday, air fills, and certification.

Not Included: Quarry entry fee is $18.00 per day at the gate at Lake Rawlings, and $15.00 per day at Fantasy Lake, transportation, and lunch on Saturday and Sunday.

Open Water Dives Itinerary

Thursday                  Pick up rental gear, fill out forms and talk about the upcoming dives
6:00PM-7:30PM

Saturday
8:45am-11:00am      Pre-dive briefing, and assembly of SCUBA gear, Dive #1
11:00pm-12:00pm    Lunch break and pre-dive briefing
12:00pm-2:00pm      Dive #2
2:00pm                      Post dive briefing, log book entry, back to Water World for tank fills

Sunday
9:00am-10:00am      Pre dive briefing and compass navigation
10:00am-11:00am    Dive #3
11:00am-12:00pm    Pre dive briefing and rest break
12:30pm-1:30pm      Dive #4
2:00pm-3:00pm        Sign log books and complete certification papers.

Each dive will be a combination of specific exercises and free time to explore the quarry

Wow, this is a lot of FUN!!!

Additional Information: Each student is responsible for transporting their own SCUBA gear (including two tanks, regulator, BC,wetsuit, and weight belt) for Open Water Dives. If you don't own your own gear,it is important to learn how to safely rent your scuba equipment. If you are renting from Water World, gear must be picked up prior to store closing the day before the Open Water Dives (in other words, on Friday). Please allow enough time (at least 30 minutes) for this before the store closing at 6pm. Air fills between days are included but you are responsible for transporting them to the store and getting them filled. Please don't forget to bring along your dive log book to start recording your dive history after your dives.

Cancellation Policy: A $25 fee per person will be deducted from all refunds. Less than 48 hours notice will be assess a $50 fee. No notice will receive no refund.
