Mike Muller

 


Mike was first certified in 1967 in the cold rock quarries and Great Lakes of Ohio. Originally from North Carolina, Mike looked forward to the summer trips to dive the wrecks off Morehead City. Mike became an instructor in 1973 and taught classes in Ohio and Florida. Mike is currently a PADI Master Scuba Diver Trainer and Instructor Development Course (IDC) Staff Instructor.

Specialites Mike teaches include Peak Performance Buoyancy, Project Aware, AWARE Coral Reef Conservation, Enriched Air Diver, Tec Rec Gas Blender, Deep, Drift, Dry Suit, Underwater Navigator, Wreck, Boat and Night Diver, Search and Recovery, Underwater Photographer.. Mike is also an Emergency First Response Instructor.

From living all over the world Mike has dived the kelp forests of California, the lava tubes of Hawaii, the Scapa Flow WWI wrecks in Scotland and all over Florida and the Carribean. His favorite dives always brought him home to the "Graveyard of the Atlantic" wrecks of North Carolina. "The exciting yet tragic history to each of the wrecks keeps bringing me back, dive after dive". When not diving, which is not often as he has a new dry suit to keep him warm in the winter, Mike can be found on the ski slopes in winter and attempting to play golf in the summer. Mike is married to Becky, a certified Divemaster.
