DAN Oxygen First Aid In Dive Accidents

Course Overview

All divers should be able to recognize the signs and symptoms of a dive emergency requiring oxygen to the injured party. The Dan Oxygen First Aid In Dive Accidents course provides entry-level training in the first aid management of suspected dive accidents requiring oxygen. The course alse introduces divers to the fundamentals of dive acccident recognition,response and management. Topics covered include:

Anatomy and physiology review
Sighns and syptoms of dive wemergencies requiring oxygen
Benefits of oxygen in dive emergencies
Dive accident ststistics
Emergency oxygen delivery equipment

Students will also have the opportunity to assemble and deploy the DAN Oxygen

 

Course Prerequisites

Training in CPR from a nationally recognized agency and a DAN Membership

 

     Saturday June 25th 9:00am until 3:00pm

 

Tuition: $59...includes instruction,support materials,use of emergency oxygen delivery equipment,DAN Oxygen Provider Certification card

Cancellation Policy: A $25 cancellation fee per person will be assessed for any cancellation-no notice will receive no refund.
