Welcome to Costa Rica's Northwest Pacific Scuba Diving

Local dive sites are abundant and offer a wide variety of both pelagics and small critters for macro photography.  Many of Costa Rica's Northwest Pacific dive sites are as close as 10 minutes from your hotel. You can also venture out to the Catalina Islands and Bat Islands (known as the Murcielagos).  The Catalina Islands are done as local dives from Flamingo and Tamarindo areas, but are considered a long-range dive from Hermosa, Ocotal, and Coco. The diving typically requires full wetsuits and visibility averages 30-60’ but the Pacific creatures are plentiful.  Our facility is set on a beautiful Ocean hillside with one restaurant right at the water and another farther up the hill with a spectacular view.

One of the special draws of Costa Rica is the opportunity to combine a new dive site with great land exploration opportunities.  We will spend one afternoon doing a combination Jungle Tree Canopy tour, River Float and Horseback ride.  Another full day will be dedicated to exploring deeper into the Jungle to experience Canopy Zip Lines and a unique natural hot mud bath SPA.  They also offer optional White Water rafting, Canyon Rappelling and Volcano Tours.  The Tree Top Canopy Tour is a special opportunity in Costa Rica. This unique experience allows you to truly see nature while enjoying an exhilarating ride on zip lines through the trees.  You will be fitted for a harness, gloves and practice on a zip line close to the ground. Once comfortable your guide will take you to your first platform. The several zip lines are hung between platforms from trees and you will zip along between these two platforms one at a time. Feel the adrenaline coarse through your body as you quickly zip along the line and land safely at the next platform where one of your trained guides waits to help you get down.
This trip offers a great combination of water and land exploration and can be further customized if desired.
